Fuel dispensers communication protocols conversion and ATG systems and probes communication protocols conversion

Many management systems for petrol stations (POS systems or forecourt controllers) have a limited list of supported brands of dispensers and ATG systems. What is it possible to make to have these management systems work on the petrol stations, which have the non-supported brands of dispensers and ATG systems installed? There is a simple solution!

PTS-2 forecourt controller is a popular forecourt controller for automation of petrol stations. It can work as a protocols converter converting between different fuel dispensers’ communication protocols and also between different ATG systems’ and probes’ communication protocols:

• Convertion between pumps protocols - in case if management system already knows some communication protocols of dispensers - then it can use PTS-2 controller for its conversion to any other pump protocols, which it does not support without any additional integration.
• Convertion between ATG consoles protocols - in case if management system already knows some communication protocols of ATG consoles and probes - then it can use PTS-2 controller for its conversion to any other ATG console or probe protocols, which it does not support without any additional integration.

In case if the management system already knows some communication protocols of dispensers then it can use PTS-2 controller for its conversion to any other pump protocols without any additional integration. At this control over pumps can be done in parallel from several control systems connected to the PTS-2 controller, the PTS-2 controller internally tracks which control system locks control over dispensers.

PTS-2 controller can work as a protocols converter converting between ATG systems’ and probes’ communication protocols.

In case if the management system already knows some communication protocols of ATG consoles or probes then it can use PTS-2 controller for its conversion to any other ATG console or probe protocols without any additional integration.
